Since the fall of apartheid, opera has flourished in South Africa thanks to the lifting of racial barriers, which enabled an influx of new talent. For the past 25 years, Cape Town Opera has driven much of the change by developing incredible talents and new productions that have attracted more diverse and expanding audiences.
