$125,000 In Matching Funds And One Million Trees On The Line

Five corporate partners of Trees for the Future (TREES) are matching every donation until the end of the year, up to $125,000. If the match goal is met, TREES will be able to fund the planting of one million trees.

“We can’t think of a better way to end the year than by doubling the impact of our supporter community and securing funding for one million trees,” says Director of Business Development Brian MacNair.

TREES trains farmers in a sustainable agroforestry technique called the Forest Garden Approach. Over the course of the four-year program, farmers plant thousands of trees on their own property and dramatically increase their access to nutritional foods and a steady source of income.

The match is made possible by corporate partners Eco, Hammeken Cellars, Oboz, Twig, and Twisthink. To date, the five companies have helped TREES plant a combined 8.6 million trees. Each company has pledged $25,000 in matching funds.

“Thank you to Eco, Hammeken Cellars, Oboz, Twig, and Twisthink for your continued dedication to TREES, the environment, and the farmers we serve. Not only does each matching gift directly support our work, but it also helps us reach more supporters around the world,” MacNair says.

Supporters can donate here to have their year-end gift matched.
