Hundreds of stray dogs roam the pyramid complex, and while it’s unclear if the same dog made multiple appearances, Mosher is now looking into animal shelters in Cairo to help these strays. The video of the adventurous canine garnered millions of views on Instagram overnight, with some viewers drawing connections to Anubis, the ancient Egyptian god of the dead.
