Londolozi Founders Camp
Enchanting, intimate and child friendly, Founder’s Camp is ideally situated to provide an insider’s view of the secrets of river life. Seven idyllic chalets, repose in the shade of ancient ebony and matumi trees along the banks of the Sand River.
Grumeti
Situated beneath tall evergreen trees, the whimsical sweep of flamboyant safari tents hides a blaze of colour in the delightful interiors, with quirky touches and tongue-in-cheek surprises. Al fresco showers are open to the African sky, while the calls of hippo provide a nightly serenade. Traditional fires and outdoor ovens produce mouth watering dinners under a billion stars. This is the perfect vantage point for one of the most famous fording points of the wildebeest migration.
Klien's
Perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills, ten thatched cottages with whitewashed walls and rich wooden floors look down to the valleys below. The stone interiors of the guest areas open up to breathtaking panoramas and deep leather armchairs invite you to while away the midday hours. In the evening, guests gather around blazing fireplaces to share the adventures of the day. Fine linen, silver and china sparkle in the candlelight of the open dining areas, while mouth-watering aromas drift through from the camp kitchen.
Lake Manyara Tree Lodge
Set in a remote corner of the national park, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, is located in the south of the park, away from the crowded northern region. This secluded lodge fuses natural indulgence and romance in calm, leafy surrounds. Cradled in the boughs of an ancient mahogany forest, the lodge blends into the natural beauty of its spectacular surroundings. From this treetop vantage point, one has limitless vistas of the towering Rift Valley escarpment and the forest below. The lodge comprises ten exclusive suites, each of which is a lofty treehouse with magnificent views facilitated by large windows and a spacious private veranda.
Ngorongoro Crater
It has been called the game lodge at the end of the world and, between the spectacular views swirling through mists around the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge and its somewhat unexpected architecture, it is easy to believe that you have entered a realm of pure fantasy. Steeped in romance, each stilted, handcrafted mud and thatch suite is adorned with graceful antiques.
Nxabega
From under a canopy of African ebony trees, Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp faces out over expansive lagoons and channels. With expansive Okavango views, nine exclusive tented suites are strung out on either side of the handsome thatched guest areas of the camp. Burnished teak floors and a lofty roof frame the sitting and dining areas. Private bush dinners, breakfasts in bed, lamplit cocktails on a river island or a walking safari with al fresco picnic are provided with pleasure by Nxabega’s warm and friendly staff.
