The president of the Republic of China on Taiwan Wednesday afternoon arrived in The Gambia for a four-day state visit; a move many analysts believe will further strengthen the existing bilateral ties between Banjul and Taipei. The visit is part of a 12-day tour of four African nations that are allies of Taiwan.
