Museums in Malawi

 
 
The Chichiri Museum, also known as the Museum of Malawi, is a historical and cultural museum that displays the nation's archaeology, history and ethnography. Other museums include the Lake Malawi Museum in Mangochi, which features the lifestyles of the Lakeshore people and their environment, and the Mzuzu Regional Museum, which depicts the lifestyles and environment of the people in the northern region of Malawi. Also of note is the Mtengatenga Postal Museum of Namaka, which is housed in a traditional postal carrier's rest hut. Top Mandala Museum hosts displays of natural history, ethnography, history and archaeology.
