Harvard University Committee
on African Studies and Africa.com

What's coming next?

In the coming months, Africa.com will share, for the first time with the public, a wealth of materials that the Harvard University Committee on African Studies has to offer, including a curriculum for 11-12th grade African Studies classes, made easily downloadable for high school teachers. We hope that through this collaboration, educators and members of the general public who are interested in African Studies will recognize the immense importance that the Committee on African Studies brings to this field. Please bookmark this page and keep checking for updates!

Our Collaboration

Led by Professor Caroline Elkins, the Committee on African Studies is a recognized National Resource Center by the U.S. Department of Education and interdisciplinary organization at Harvard University. CAS plays an important role in the furthering of education on Africa, from the history of the continent to language instruction, not only in north America, but around the world. Africa.com is proud to work with Professor Elkins and CAS in the coming months.
