The Sex Lives of African Girls: Afropolitan Author Featured at Jaipur Literary Festival

Taiye Selasi made her fiction debut in Granta’s latest issue, The F Word (issue 115) with the story, “The Sex Lives of African Girls.” It has already gained attention in reviews: The New York Times called it a “standout piece of fiction” and Time Out New York wrote that the “prose glitters with beautiful, splintered poetry.” The acclaim is another stamp of approval for Selasi, who has been championed by Toni Morrison and Salman Rushdie and whose first novel, Ghana Must Go, is one of next year’s most eagerly anticipated books.Want to read more about Taiye Selasi?
