American outlets like the New York Times and CNN have been less quick to confirm his death, as reports have stated that Qaddafi was not killed right away. Please be warned: some pictures of an injured Qaddafi included in these pieces are graphic, including one that’s leading Al Jazeera English‘s piece on the situation, which states that the National Transitional Council, the official government of the Libyan rebels, has confirmed Qaddafi’s death.
