Next Monday, African Fashion Week takes over New York City: from July 11th to the 17th, the best and brightest fashion designers from the continent and the diaspora will showcase their work. Runway shows take place from the 14th to the 16th, featuring fashions by Fikirte Addis of Ethiopia; Suakoko Betty, a boutique based in Atlanta, Georgia, and Saint Wobil, headed by New York-based designer Darius Wobil.
We’re giving away one ticket each for Thursday’s (14th) and Friday’s (15th) runway shows: follow Africa Fashion Week on Twitter (@AFWNY) and include a link to this blog post by this Saturday, July 9th. Once you’ve tweeted out the link, keep checking Twitter to find out if you’ve won a ticket! And while you’re at it: make sure to follow Africa.com on Twitter as well (@africa_com)!
