Introducing the University of the People (UoPeople), the world’s first tuition- free online university. Grounded in the belief that knowledge is a key ingredient of world peace, UoPeople provides universal access to collegiate-level studies, despite geographic and financial constraints of its students. Studies commenced in September 2009, and so far 600 students from nearly 100 countries have been accepted.
